The design process started with sketches and wireframes. Since I would be coding every visual element of the site, I designed the layout with a high level of accuracy down to the pixel dimensions of the padding and the size of the HTML elements. Adobe Illustrator’s pixel grids and grid snapping played a vital role in making the design precise in a timely matter. Afterwards, images, colour, and font styles were implemented into the wireframes to build the mockup. Lastly, came the development process of replicating the mockup through HTML, CSS, and the Bootstrap Framework to build a functional website.
